High pressure grouting is a method that is used to compact and stabilize compromised soils. This technique has been developed since the 1950's as a solution to control settlement. In recent years with the advancement of modern equipment, this technology has evolved to treat a variety of subsurface conditions for new and remedial construction.

Soils Modification services: High pressure grout is injected into subsurface soils to compact, stabilize and in some cases, lift. This method can also be used to inject chemicals into soils, in order to seal, glue, permeate or stabilize.

Compaction Grouting is a cost effective technique for the re-compaction and stabilization of sub-soils to greater depths than economically feasible with traditional methods. Depths of 25 to 75 feet are not uncommon. Often, soil problems can be traced to poorly compacted fill, loose soils, infiltration of water, and failure to over excavate and re-compact a building site properly.

Compaction Grouting has been found to reduce the possible damage of liquefaction of soils during seismic events. This technique uses a clear low slump grout that can be pumped slowly under high pressure into the soils with predictable results that will densify and re-compact the soils. When required, our high pressure pumps can sustain pressures that will fracture the soils and lift up the land and structures that lie upon it.

Foundation Underpinning offers a lasting solution to the foundation distress of buildings and structures. Underpinning Piers are very effective in emergency stabilization efforts needed to quickly secure a structure from sinking. The Mini Pile Underpinning Systems offer the fastest, thoroughly engineered, least intrusive and economical method of re-leveling a sinking structure. The amount of excavation required to permit accessibility is relatively small, therefore minimizing landscape repairs. Ultimo has used the combination of Atlas Systems and Compaction Grouting to successfully level and secure buildings.
